Post subject: Question about strat tremolo sizes

Are all vintage bridge assembly (reissue or real vintage) the same size in spacing of the screws and saddles? will an american or mexican tremolo fit a japanese strat? i've been reading about them and the numbers or sizes of the string spacing is confusing to me.i've bought a vintage style tremolo with fender stamped saddles off of ebay but im not sure what model it came from and im not sureif its gonna fit my japanese fender RI.
