Well spotted on the serial no' 12B. Hondo guitars weren't bad at all, I used to love em as a kid. A mates dad had one of their strats and a flying V shaped thing. Very nice sounding for sure. Not a bad price all things considered, especialy seen as though your getting a nice case with it.

I just liked the head-stock and it reminded me of another more controversial guitar.

I actually should have bought it and then started my own lonely boy topic. I could have called it anti-social boy, the 2nd strat ever made.

Why would fakers continue to use the same serial number? Looks like the would just pick a random number.

That's a real blast from the past! My first ever electric guitar, when I was a teenager, was a Hondo stratocaster copy (a red one, of course).

It had a red headstock that said "Hondo Deluxe" in gold coloured writing, though.
