dude, the best advice anyone can give you in saddles is this -
get a set of Callaham steel saddles, and while you're at it replace the trem block too. Look them up, they will make your strat come alive, worth every cent and you will not regret it. Nobody makes them better.

hey man .thanks so much for this info .i am getting that callaham trem block saddles all of it put in my strat now .should get it back in a day or so .gj.

awesome! after i fitted the callaham saddles and block my strat developed some serious harmonics, sustain, and zing I thought only vintage ones had. enjoy.

thats great to hear man.looking so forward to getting my 60 road worn back .also put 6000 dunlop frets and texas sp pickups in it and a bone nut .and staggerd tunners .hope to have a good one when it is done .gj

that some great gear you have man.i got a 89 usa strat and a mim 96 strat and the rw 60 strat..use a peavey delta blues amp 30watt 15 inch spk. some times and a fender deluxe vm amp good amp but dont use it much .and a older peavey trans tube 112 amp i use the most.take care my friend .gj .ps when i get the rw strat back i will post a up date on here .

RE: The Callaham stuff. Put me down for mega props to Bill Callaham and his mods as well. I do not believe a pickup swap, nor any other mod has as profound an effect on the Stratocaster guitar. Post pics when you get your guitar back; it sounds like you'll be woodsheddin' for a good long time when you do get it back!

Also, see my thread about neck inserts; along side the Callaham hardware, it is an unbeatable mod for impoving sustain and resonance.

PS: And no, I don't work for Callaham, or Onyx Forge. :)
