Happy Birthday Stevie! :D You know, it's really weird to think that he's technically older than my parents. I'm not allowed to tell by how much though.

Happy Birth-day Stevie,

I've been thinking about him a lot lately. He was born 16 years before me, but was four years younger than me when he died. I got a weird feeling when I realized that because his music has been around for my whole life. He left a great mark on the world. Time flies and life is short, may you all enjoy it to the fullest while you have the opportunity.

Cheers - Here's to SRV ...

Just remembering a great after he's gone. Some would say that is what it is all about ... how you're remembered when you're gone  .

Happy Birthday Stevie. The world misses you. This is kind of weird in that I forgot it was near Stevies Birthday and just two nights ago my 11 year old who is just getting down his bends was on my knee watching youtube when I put on the long version of Texas Flood and my son just screamed out Oh my God he is great and then when he flips and plays behind his back and is tremelo struming that was it .Today I have seen that his web page changed from Randy Rhoads to SRV. I guess Stevie just has that impact on everyone still. To this day I still have never seen anyone play the blues with the shear viciousness of Stevie.

Man, I wish I had seen that when I was 11. It wasn't until I was 16 that I finally saw Stevie and freaked out like that. It just got to me, and I didn't even like blues at the time.
