I received a U.S. made strat from my parents for my 13th B-Day. I played it for a number of years then got married, kids etc.... Anyhow I am ready to start playing again but would like to know year and model of ser # E 333993. Best I can find is '82-'84. It has only one tone knob as well if that helps. Thanks for any help.

I found this info:

Your guitar was made at the
Fullerton Plant (Fender - CBS Era), USA
in the Year(s): 1982 - 1985
