Anyone out there have Fender Hot Noiseless pickups in your Strat? Thinking about changing my stock pickups in my American Standard (rosewood fretboard) to a noiseless type. Looking for more output and sustain for heavier blues and rock. How do you like yours and what type of music do you play with them? Thanks

I have these in my main MIA player, and love them. Take some time to fiddle with the height to get it just right though, it's well worth it.

Have them in my Beck Strat and find them to be my favorite of the three noiseless pup guitar sets I have. I get a great blues to classic rock tone and the bridge really flat out screams.

Hot Noiseless are great I have them in a Surf Green Jeff beck Strat. However, I've been experimenting with the noiseless Dimarzio Area pickups and find them to be awesome noiseless vintage/hot pick ups. I have another strat with a Dimarzio virtual vintage heavy blues 2 in the bridge and an Area 58' in the neck. Best sounding noiseless pickups.Going to put an Area 67' in the middle. Still undecided. (I've been modifying a Road Worn Strat). I'm going to buy an Olympic White Standard Strat (maple neck) and put Area 67's in the neck and middle positions and an Area 61' in the bridge.
You see, there are the Area pickups that consist of the Area 58', 61 and 67'. Then there are the virtual vintage hotter ones like the heavy blues, virtual solo etc... You may want to try the Areas and virtual vintage pickups. They blow my mind. The fender hot noiseless are little taller in height so you're routing has to be deep enough to allow for the extra depth of the pickup. You can't go wrong with the fender noiseless tho they are great sounding too.
