Those road worns are excellent guitars, specially if you are lucky enough to get one that actually plays great off the rack. I've played a couple of real bad ones, so it is best to play them before you buy them. Other than that, they are great playing and great sounding guitars, specially for the price I paid for them at $499 each out the door :D I got both of the 60s road worns. If MF would sell the two tone SB for $499 again, I may just buy that one too.

I think the white 60's strat is beautiful. I was pining over one at guitar center when a natually worn 1988/ 1968 white CIJ strat came in and was close enough to satisfy my GAS for a white vintage style strat. My only thing is that mines original pickguard was junk so I replaced it with a mint green one, but I'd kill for a Road Worn series pickguard.

I see I'm not the only one who haunts MF's deal of the day hoping for Fender stuff :)

QC could be a whole lot better.I played 4 at one store and 3 at another and none of them were very playable. One of them the pickgard was warped so bad that the bridge pickup was almost touching the strings.Yep , really worth  949 to me.
