Wow she is just amazing when you think she has been winding for 50 plus years. I wonder if she can play.

Nice video and thanks for posting it. I have a couple of the CS69 pickup sets that has her signature on it. I wonder if they will go up in value in the future? :D

Is Abby still working for Fender? If so, then wouldn't it be a conflict of interest when Abby went to SD as she is working for Fender...... No insider secret trading....you know what I mean

Maybe she went to SD to do a little corporate spying FOR Fender!

If she went to spill some secrets to SD, the last thing she'd want would to be videotaped while doing it!

It is amazing to think that she started winding pickups for Leo the year I was born!

There may be some kind of agreement seeing as some Fender guitars are advertised with Duncan designed buckers. Maybe SD's design, but Fender's winding them?

Maybe they're going to be collaborating on a new design? Lot's of possibilities. Also the guitar making community isn't that large. And i somehow doubt there is as much animosity between the various makers as there sometimes is between their customers.

I had a friend who was absolutely incensed that another friend put some DiMarzio pickups in his les paul (it was an 80's one,) because he was such a Gibson fanatic. (He would also the 'Mopar or no car' guy. i somehow doubt there's that kind of zealotry among the tradespeople.
