Forgive me if this comes off as delusional...im very tired haha....

But has fender ever had a reverse burst color? like the tobacco sunburst that is black in the middle and then fades the colors at the edge? I'm wondering what it would look like. What do you guys think? Has it been done before?

ok im off to bed, but i will check back on this later today

I've been thinking lately how cool a sunburst finish would look where instead of the orange/yellow in the center what if it were bright green, purple, or blue fading into the black.

I love the sunburst design but I'd also love to see other colors of the same idea.

I've seen white fading into black custom finish before, but it looked funny and it was on a Firebird.

Wholly Pumpkin Licker that be orange on the edge.Gives us the idea though.
I think it would look pretty cool with a nice amber tone on the edges.

it's definitely an interesting look, the blue/black guitar doesn't really look like much of a burst to me but rather a metallic finish viewed at an angle.

jump to it fender, i want to see one of these somewhat similar to bluestube's in production...and you can make the royalties check out to me!

Yes, that's a bit too orange. Some amber and woodgrain on the edge would be nice ... different, for sure.
