I own a 57 AVRI white blonde ash body/maple neck, it sounds better every time I play it. I haven't wanted another electric ever since I bought that one, custom shop, vintage, whatever. This one just feels right in my hands. ^^ I would most definitely suggest checking one of those out, it would probably be right down your alley (if not, definitely in the neighborhood). If that doesn't quite do it, there is always the custom shop which can definitely fit your needs as long as you know for sure what they are.

Money is no object then go masterbuilt. Get exactly what you want handmade by one very talented person.

I have to say the guitar Ryan made from the forum is one sweet looking ax. I think he did such a good job I would have something similar done by the custom shop as I cant get that out of my head.

The Vintage Hot Rod is a great guitar and I feel it is more playable than the regular Vintage Series are. They have a more modern, flatter radius with larger frets to facilitate bending and their still finished in lacquer. The regular Vintage series have the sharper 7.25 radius necks with small vintage frets which are more difficult to bend on.

If you get a one-piece Ash body, please don't hide it under a solid-color finish!

Look to Warmoth for that body, by the way.
