Like a gift for your daughter or something?

Maybe surf green with a maple board and smileys for position markers...

It seems that many signature models are being made for "pop"ular artists these days.

What about an Ana Popovic model?

Maybe a Miranda Lambert model?

Nope. If it's anyone's signature model I don't want it, won't buy it, don't even want to play it.

How bout this idea for a Miley signature guitar:
Gibson just takes all of its new "Jimi" models and simply puts Miley stickers and decals instead of Authentic Hendrix. Because I think that guitar looks more Disney then Hendrix anyway. Everyone wins (except Authentic Hendrix, which makes it an epic win)^^

I know! The Miley Cyrus Signature Stratocaster will come with a Nashville session man who will stand behind you and play while you pretend...

Hi Mike,

Sure make the kid a Stratcaster.
She seem a positive influence for the youngsters.

This is one of the guitars she's hawking,
I suspect she is whishing it were a fender.

Reminds me of Taylor Swift playing a "Taylor" solid body!

Nope.

Nothing against Miley, she seems fine, and the kids love her, but...Signature guitars just don't do anything for me...ANYONE's signature. Just doesn't interest me to be playing (& paying) for someone else's guitar, especially one created mainly for endorsment purposes.

Name dropping at every oppurtunity in the guitar industry is bad enough....just try buying a 5751 tube - ANY BRAND!! w/o hearing about SRV. UUGHH!

Nice plain old Fenders, Gibsons &/or G&Ls are fine thanks.

I guess if I had a daughter who really wanted one I would let "her mom" go in and buy one. I guess its not much different than buying an Avril Lavigne signature.

i would buy one if my nieces showed interest.

if it helps foster an interest in the music, i wouldn't care if it was a signature guitar or not. Obviously a Miley Cyrus guitar wouldn't be marketed at adults, and if this idea provides a push for someone to start down the lifelong path to music making, i am all for it.

bring on the Spiderman, and Batman guitars if you ask me.

YES YES YES. Thats what i'm having on this tele i'm making. I was gonna clone Billy Gibbons's tele but sod that. Its a moody dark knight graphic or the bin.

I reckon i could carry off a cyrus guitar. Thirty something, overweight, construction worker, rocking a pink guitar on a friday night.

If it would inspire my daughter to play and/or get involved in music then absolutely. :D
