Hi All

The title say's it all,but how do I cure it.I have only had the guitar 3 day's and it's excellent,I have changed strings but kept to 10/46 gauge.

The saddle height adjustment screws are a bit lomg, but nothing I can't sort after I fix the tuning.

Anyone any ideas please.

Alan

I have this same model and dont have the problem. Most likely its a tight nut. A little lubrication at thr nut shoul do the trick.

Thanks Eddie

Glad you said that,I have been told the same thing by other users,so I am going to get some Nut Sauce and try that.

You also might want to check out GraphitAll. I like it better than the NutSauce myself

A tube of graphite from the hardware store will do the trick. Make sure your tuning key windings are perfect and not overlapping.

If you can't get graphite, take a No2 pencil and run it across some
sand paper to build some dust. Carefully place it in the nut grooves.

No I didn't change the gauge.

According to Fenders website the guitar comes fitted with Fender 250's 10/46.
All I have done is change to D'addario 10/46.

Maybe I'll try the pencil trick, but I'm not happy that this needs to be done on a brand new guitar.
