Well here she is. Back from the tech with the frets honed to perfection and all new wiring. Sorry I took so long.

Looks nice, I really dig that color. I bet she plays sweet as well.

Yeah that would be Pewter.

Yeah, looks like mine, but with maple instead of rosewood.

Does the selector switch have a gap on each side?

My MIM strat is like that, but my Pluses the switch doesn't have the gap, which I prefer. The switch on my pluses also has more resistance, so it's not as easy to knock out of position by mistake.

I've been trying to find selector switches that don't have the gaps, but can't find any, I guess they're all like the MIM ones now.

^^^ Yea - I wanted to get close enough that you could make our the John Cruz stamp on the neck!

Here's a John Cruz for only $6,499! and I think mine looks to be in nicer shape! http://www.themusiczoo.com/fendercustom/FenderMasterbuiltCustomShop_JohnCruz_UltimateRelicStratocaster_62_SeafoamGreen_JC1326.html

Nice, I havent seen many in Pewter with the maple neck, only rosewood. I like it, how are the lace sensors? I've never played any before but see a lot of people opting for those recently

It plays like a dream and sounds really wicked. A previous owner changed out the Lace Golds to Lace Silvers so she really wails! I have a second Plus in Blue Pearl Dust with a maple neck - all original with Lace Golds and that one sounds less wild... more mellow.

I am thoroughly obsessed with the Strat Plus. I will most likely sell off my entire collection as I find Pluses. Right now I'm sick to find a DLX Plus with maple near mint... that's a tall order!

I used to have an ash transparent blue late '80s plus, it was great, but was sort of heavy.

This is a nice guitar... Great color. What model is it?

How do you attach pictures? New to the Fender site.

Thanks

Use an image hosting site - like photobucket or tinypic - and go from there. It's easy to do.

Does the roller nut make it so it doesn't need a string tree? Is that a custom option? Really nice guitar.
