Hi Guys,

Tons of knowledge on here I would like to ask for your help...I'm a south paw with "another" itch to buy more gear..I am curious what would need to be done to properly have a righty flipped to left? The selection for us south paws is pretty limited.....any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Well, I know for a fact--read it somewhere--that when Jimi Hendrix flipped his strats it made for a mellower tone on the highs side because of the slant on the bridge pickup. You'll probably need to flip the nut...I don't think any radical modifications are required other than that

Ideally you would want to get a left-handed nut, because the string slots for your G,B and high E would be too wide ... I wouldn't recommend flipping the one that's there ... the curved and flat sides would be opposite. If you don't have experience setting it up, take it to a tech, but, I, along with many others on this board highly recommend this time as a time for you to learn some of that for yourself.
