Post subject: Pickups cavities in the Eric Johnson Strat

So are the pickup cavities on the Eric Johnson Strat in fact not as deep as they would normally be? That's what I've read and I'm wondering if a guy could successfully install stacked humbuckers in one of these Strats or would you run into space problems.

try the AVRI 57 Hotrod...comes with a Diamrzio tone Zone in the bridge and SCN"s in the middle and neck. also has the vintage bodyshape and nitro finish like the EJ. but has a 9.5 radius and medium jumbo frets on the neck...i just bought one....and its sweeeet!
i can not figure out this &%$# imaging posting thing....arggghh...

Yeah I'm looking at a used American Vintage 57 Hot Rod. I have the 62 Hot Rod and love it.
