My purple Squier is "the purple one". My blue Fender is "the Fender". My Les Paul is "my Les Paul". I try thinking of clever things to call them, but in the end they always end up being "this one" or "that one".

My Telecaster is named "Summer" and my Strat is "Roxanne".

I see nothing wrong with giving your guitar a name - I think it's a fun thing to do.
