I was just posting in another thread how I wanted to give my guitar a ridiculous name.

May I suggest "Lady Gaga"? :)

I'd never name a guitar. Mrs mondo calls them "the blue one" and "that other one" (a generic term for any guitar that isn't the blue one). My son calls them all "Bwaaarrrr, bwaaarr, grrrrraaaaa!" and claps whenever I so much as open a case, which is gratifying.

I used to name my guitars. I do not do it any more. I refer to them as either Highway or Classic Vibe. My daughter named my Highway 1, but I cannot remember what she called it.

:?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

"Blackie", "Brownie", "Scotch", "Number One", "Space Bass", "The Beast", "Muddywood", "The Duck", "Red Special", "Uncle Dick", "Frankenstien", "Old Black"

:?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

I mean, there's "Lucille" and "Lenny" ... but it seems color and/or paint job is a far more recurring theme than women ...

Nothing, as long as you don't mind being one of the "weirdos" who names your guitar after a woman ...
