Have any of you guys tried one of these? Or could someone point me towards an online pic showing the various profiles for comparison?

Thanks for that, much appreciated.

Does anyone here have one and can comment? Or even draw comparisons to a G****n '59 type profile?

That neck profile chart is a classic generic. There are subtle differences in Fender V-necks for example. The alphabet letters A-D in fact refer to the nut widths, not the cross-sections.

You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your princess.

Find a vendor who sells high end Strats. See if you can get your hands on something with a 10/56 neck, as well as a Custom Shop Clapton, a '57AVRI, a "57HR, and a Gilmour whose neck is an 1985 "57RI vintage C profile, and do your 'taste test'. See what you come up with.

Niki was hunting a '57AVRI a ways back. He followed my lead into a "57HR.

Even though Jimmy up top there says it makes him no never mind, everyones hands are different. You have to find the foot that fits the glass slipper.

Doc
