Post subject: Strat Plus Colors

I have a 1988 Strat Plus and I'm not sure as to its' color. It is either Inca Silver or Pewter. Neither color appears in the parts list for the body.

I think Inca Silver is an older color than Pewter but I'm not certain.

Does anyone have the real skinny on my color conundrum?

an '88 would have been pewter, Inca Silver & Shoreline gold were only on put on the midd 90's versions.

Thanks Sean - Do you mean that Fender added the Inca Silver to the Plus series in the mid 90s? Just curious, what is you source of information?

yes, they did, as there were lots of custom colors for the plus models.
And the plus were made from '88-'98, when they morphed into the MIA deluxe models, with noiseless pups instead of lace sensors.
