I tend to shy away from buying gear online without having tried it first but I gotta have one of these. Love this color. Does anyone know where to obtain one? They have it listed on musicians friend but when you try to select a color it isnt available. Anyone seen this anywhere else online?

You can try to surf the web and maybe find one.Shoreline Gold is kind of hit and miss.It seems that Fender offers it for a limited time .I did see where the Classic Player 50s strat in shoreline gold, but it has different options and its over a grand.

I cannot find a Classic series, but I found this '57RI, which will be worth almost 3x as much as a classic series in 15 years. if you have the money, I say go with this. they only made this color for 1 year, so it is pretty collectible.

That ax is nice Chanman and you can see it had the $@!& played out of it. Now that is what a guitar looks like that has been played out. Not that phony take a sander to it relic look

Are you confusing the Classic Series '50s with the Classic Player '50s? The Classic Player '50s comes in Shoreline Gold. The Classic Series '50s that you link to doesn't.

Frontier Music in Lawton, Oklahoma (800) 834-0661 has a Shoreline Gold Classic Player '50s one their wall. I think they have it priced for just under a grand. It's nice. Real nice.

Maybe this will help!
