I have recently bought a Fender Squire Strat and there is something I don't understand. In the package there was a small spring. Where shall I put it?

Please answer fast...

I think it goes into the hole where you insert the whammy bar.

Hi nicklas_dk, welcome to the Forum.

A single tiny black spring like one of these?

It belongs in the hole beneath the trem arm, just as kineman karma says.

Cheers - C

Could be an additional spring for your trem unit. Take the back plate off - you'll see springs connceted to the tremelo block.. is the spring you have, the same size as these? If so, it's an extra one if you want the trem tighter.
