Anybody know what may be the problem? I made up a new pick guard with new parts which included a set of 57/62 Vintage pickups. My problem is that I have no tone control on the bridge pickup (or none that I can hear) I'm using a .1uF capacitor. All other pickups and controls are fine except the bridge. Could it be that I may need to use a lower rated cap? I've looked over the wiring diagrams and I looks like all my connections are correct.

Just one 2" jumper wire soldered onto the switch will sort you out. Do you want to switch tone control from the middle pick up to the bridge? or do you want tone control on middle and bridge from the same (2nd) tone control? - Same wire, just slightly different switch terminal

Not having a tone control for the bridge is typical vintage wiring.Like adey said , there are 2 ways to do it, run a jumper off the middle tone control , or use the middle control for the bridge This is what i did and i like it alot.

Ok solder a jumper from the middle post on the pot. Run jumper from middle post to where and would that be the farthest pot the one on the bottom? As you can tell that this is my first attempt to do my own wiring. I can say it is prety fun. Sure is nice to have folks out there that are cool enough to help.

Just go to the switch and soldier a jumper wire from the middle tone pots lug on the switch and jump a wire over to the empty lug next to it

I have put a switch on that wire for some so they can control it either way on or off tone control.
