Look again, I see three pieces. It does not matter to me though. The Sienna SB american is a ash body. If you are talking about the KOA body, then yea, it appear to be a two piece.

What is going on with the neck plate though? I though they were rectangular

FREAKIN' EAGLE EYES!!! Yes I see three now on the ash body. That never bothered me. If you get over three pieces however......

Yeah, the neck plate looks like a shaved heel sort of deal.

Well spotted firstrat it is 3 piece not that i give a hoot, looks real pretty in the flesh.
Actually cherry burst i believe with the standard contoured heel.

Interesting contrast with the korean guitar re neck etc etc.

No doubt! If there is a tone difference in the number of pieces, and i doubt there is, this piece would have the qualities of a one piece because the bridge and pickups are all in the same piece of wood

I am confused about the contoured heel. I have an 08 AM standard and it does not have a contoured heel. Also, I hdon't know cherry burst, but it looks just like the sienna sb on the American models, which also happens to come with an ash body. What year is that guitar? I believe if that is a 08-09 American guitar, that would make it a sienna SB

Gorgeous looking guitars.. absolutely lovely.

On the Koa, I see a long haired male standing figure in the grain underneath the bridge..

lol............ its dated as 2006, i got it a year ago. Sienna sunburst (as i recall looking at one in a store some time previous ) was more red
in colour than this cherry burst , it being a bit more towards a darker
vibe if that makes sense. The heel is a regular for US deluxes im sure.

Thanks for the comments.
