SRINGS FOR MY MIA SANDARD STRAT. ON-LINE THE SPECS CALL FOR "Fender® Standard Tension™ Bullet ST3250L, Nickel Plated Steel, (.009 to .042), p/n 073-3250-203" BUT THE STICKER ON THE BACK OF MY GUITAR CALLS FOR "SUPER BULLETS". WHATS THE DIFFERENCE, WHY DOES IT SHOW 2 DIFFERENT TYPES AND WHAT SHOULD I CHANGE THEM WITH. I WANT TO KEEP IT STOCK. THANKS FOR THE HELP. ROB

It's just a slightly different manufacturing technique. Use what you think sounds best. this has sort of been addressed before: http://www.fender.com/community/forums/ ... 4d70ecf1f7

I've tried almost all the strings out there and have found DR Pure Blues .10s and GHS Boomers .10s to be the best. They both sound excellent, don't snap often if at all, feel great to play, and won't kill your fingers since they are round wound as opposed to a hex core. I think .9s are too light and sound way too thin, especially if your guitar has a maple neck. Hope this helps!

+1

Cap's lock is on the left

Seriously though, if you really want to keep it stock, go with the Bullets. Strings are for you to decide what sounds and feels best for you. Most players have changed their string preference many times during their playing life. I've been playing for over 40 years and have used a lot of different sets of strings. Seems like I keep coming back to these:

DR Pure Blues .10's
Ernie ball Reg. Slinky (.10)
Ernie ball Super Slinky (.09)

To each his/her own...
