Hi all,

I resently bought the American Vintage 57' commemorative edition strat. I absolutely love the guitar. It's like a dream come true. I did have a question though. At the specs list it says the guitar has American vintage pickups, but I was wondering if they are the ''original 57'-62' pickups'', wich the Fender Front Line magazine says comes OEM on all American Vintage guitars? If so, why doesn't it say so on the site? Or are they indeed both correct names for the same pickups? Im a bit confused...Can someone help me? :)
Greetz,

I think American Vintage and '57-'62 pickups are the same.

Look on the Fender website if you wanna now for sure.
