Post subject: Looking for info about my Custom Shop '58 Strat

Hi - I wonder if anyone can shed a bit more light on a Custom Shop Strat that I recently got. Info on CS guitars seems really hard to find.
The Certificate says 1958 Stratocaster built Jan. '97 It's finished in Shoreline Gold, birdseye maple neck and the serial no. is * of 30
Any info or spec would be much appreciated!

sounds like a nice guitar ,and welcome to the forums.If it is not signed by a masterbuilder it is probably team built. You may want to go to the CS forum and post pictures. Some of those guys can probably help

Yes, welcome to the forums, Chas. It sounds like a very nice Stratocaster. I agree with what gratz has posted in his response.

That's a cool feature here, being able to go into the general CS area or "ask Mike Eldred" area.
