I prefer a tremolo arm that sits closer to the body . I own a ash deluxe which has the snap in arm but for me it's too high away from the body. Are there arms available that are shorter on the part that snaps into the block?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

There is no other snap in arm that I am aware of. There are other choices though... I changed out my Am Dlx block, saddles and arm for the Callaham replacements and the bar sits a little closer to the body- in a much more comfortable and usable position. IMHO, the tone changed for the better too.

thanks. at this point of time I'm not wanting to change , replace or alter anything on the guitar but I'll remember what you've suggested in case I change my mind.
Thanks

No problem. I remember how I was hesitant to change anything on my '99 Dlx Fat Strat. It took me about 9 1/2 years to decide to make some minor changes. They are great guitars the way they are, that's for sure- I fall more in love with mine almost every single day. I'm pretty sure that with time, you can learn to just get used to the arm the way it is.

I've been spoiled by my Fret King Corona HB which is built to the specs of a 60's Strat though with better tuners , bridge, saddles and vibrato system. It is flawless and player friendly in every respect.
My strat is great but certain things like the arm I'd like to change and as you said I might get bold enough to attempt those changes sometime in the future but for now I'll leave it as is.
Love the S1 system...so many tonal variations to choose from it could drive one nuts.
