HA HA lol love the way you describe the gibson as a hand me down!!! mann having that handed to you on a plate must be one of the best things that can ever happen the stuff dreams and fantsy are made of ..i wake up from that dream to realise itll take me another 7 years of saving, but hey enjoy em both you lucky lucky (even if youre not aware of it )man

Hey paulpc,

yeah, that was kind of a joke on the handed down thing, lol. My Mom actually sold it to me as it used to be my step Dad's. I will say this, that I did not have to pay the going rate as it is now, or as it was in 96 and I definitely know how lucky I am for that. It is a bit road worn, quite literally, and has a few issues, but as I see it, she just has all of the qualities you cannot get from a brand new guitar.

I definitely know how lucky I am on the Gibson, and it stay's very well guarded, in the case, and is by far my most pampered guitar yet.

Thank you all for the comments, I would reply to each, but I feel that would be a bit long winded.

I have been having an absolute blast with the new strat, and have a very strong feeling that many of you have been right about making room. I have only been playing for 8 months, and already have two acoustics, and my Strat, and am absolutely certain that they will not be the last. This is going to have to be the last for a while though.

Thanks Again All,

ATX
