Jimmy, I lived in Bedfordshire for a little over a year and absolutely loved it. If you ever decide to come to Texas, you're welcome to crash at my place! 8)

Rain??? No one uses an umbrella out there. Snow??? I was out there a week after that 6 inch snowfall crippled y'all. In NYC we call that much snow an insult. :P

I have family out there with homes in Bellevue and on Bainbridge Island, where I do business with the Eagle Harbor Book store. I'm a Dune collector, and that's home to the Herberts.

My only requirement when I travel out there is a day all to myself at the EMP.

I'll keep you in mind on my next trip. How close are you to those locations?

Doc :?:

That's an impressive skyline. Very cosmpolitan. I was thinking more of White Island if I ever have the good fortune to get to your arm of the galaxy. A bit more adventurous, that. 8)

I'd be careful about those aerial photos. There are a host of mechanically creative folk out here who might be capable of sending something your way. 8)

[quote="Scot06"]I was just wondering where everyone that posts here is from. It would be nice to know part of the world the posts come from.

The last time we did this I made a strong suggestion for get togethers among those who were in regional and reasonable travel proximity to each other. I have already done that with stratmansteve in Florida and would enjoy meeting others from the Dade through Palm Beach County area late this year.

There's a cluster of us in the NY metro who could arrange a similar face to face.

Doc
