I have a 50th ann. '04 Strat and the rear tone control affects the bridge pup the same as the others.I've never seen this in any other Strat, all others are unaffected by the tone controls. Is this a mistake in the assembly of my Strat or all 50th ann. Strats like that?I bought it new and there is no possibility that it was modified at the dealer.

All deluxes are that way as are some other models too. Its whats known as a no load pot. Its meant to be exactly the same as when a tonepot isnt connected when that pot is on 10.

All deluxes that have SCN's and S1 also have the no load tone control for the bridge and middle pickup. The earlier Deluxes (pre 2004 i think) didnt have it. They had Vintage noiseless pickups and a regular tone stack.
