Has anyone fitted this scale neck to their strat?

I love my new Jeff beck strat, but I am used to the Gibson scale length for two reasons:

1. I play a lot of chord/melody jazzy stuff and prefer a slightly closer fret spacing.

2. I have had tendon problems in my left hand fingers over the years and as a precaution I prefer the easier bending action of the 24.75 scale.

I believe some of the spank and sparkle will be lost from the 25.5 scale, but it wont change the incredibly awesome sound that much will it?

I'm thinking the shorter scale length with all the awesomeness of the strat might just be my dream guitar.

I haven't played a Strat with a 24.75" scale length, but I think changing necks out for the short option will change the sound. You will definitely lose some spank, some sparkle, and some shimmer. How much, I can't say, but I wouldn't do it to my guitar.
