Hi Guys

I've recently bought a Strat as a Mex from early 2000's apparently but not knowing that much about them I bought it blind. When I looked up the Serial number on the head on a website, it matches either a 1999 US Strat or a 1994 $@! model. The serial number is N900146, but how would I find out which model it is?

Any help would be appreciated.

Without seeing the guitar its hard to tell anymore than you have already found out. A mexican guitar should have a MN9 prefix. A mexican from 2000 serial no' should read MZ0.

One of us has a reference website which will take the serial number and cross reference the date and location of assembly. I've seen it used before. It may be orville....
