Bigjay I saw a company in USA that specialise in selling one piece swamp ash bodies and their prices were good too, I think they started the bid at 180 but I never saw the end of it, what price it went for, maple bodies are brilliant but what are they worth second hand new, it really doesnt matter new second hand in wood does it bigjay, I agree with your thinking about density and less pieces to the body, thanks for your answer mate
