Highway One seems to me great value for the price, then again I haven't tested any of these guitars myself.

Well, the HW1 is a great sounding guitar, but if you dont want a finish that falls off if you look at it , its probably not for you.The Deluxe Player is good and has some nice finishes, but i would check out the Classic Players and anything in that price range. The Deluxe player also has the 12 " radius neck i believe.

Hello CoolVictor25,

Of your choices I picked the Highway one.
but your also gonna need a hardshell case.

Now your pretty close to the cost of a American Standard
which comes with a airline friendly hardshell case.

Well have fun with whatever your choice,
and don't forget the pictures, please.

Cheers.

Well my next guitar is a Highway One. I'd say the Highway One.

Three very different models...12" radius....S-S-H....large headstock, and that's just a beginning.

My advice to is find a way to try and play each one and see which one feels and sounds best to you.

Are you considering used/pre-owned? I've seen USA Big Apple Strats going for good prices and a '96 MIA Lonestar or Roadhouse is another one I like.

the highway one produces some of the best tones
of any strat. and the finish is what was used back in
the 50's and 60's and its not for everyone. the highway one sss
is just as good today at $700 (price drop) as they were
when they were $900+ dollars the price means nothing.
the highway one sss strat= one the the best strats ever
produced!

Ok I chose the Highway 1 because I am partial to them. However, it really depends what you need as a player. If you do a bunch of dives and bombs, I recommend the Floyd Rose equipped Stratocaster. If you want a bunch of different tones, then the Deluxe is for you.

I really love my Highway 1 Stratocaster because it is fun to play, no frills (no distractions), and sounds great. I also like the jumbo frets which allow m to play a little faster. I like the Greasebucket circuitry that does not allow bass to bleed in as you cut back the high tines. I also dig the oversized headstock.

Please let us know what you decide. Good luck on your next trip to the guitar shop. Play all three ans see which model you like the best as my opinion may not be the same as yours.

You have more homework to do your choices are a bitl across the board.

Think about your expectations for what you want to do with the guitar then match specs accordingly.Consider price?I really like the new MIM standards but only the brand new model. The D player has a flatter radius I believe. I really don`t like the Hiway 1 series at all.If some one offered me my pick I`d take a new MIM standard over one.
I really think it is sacra ledge to have a strat with a humbucker in the bridge.
Unless you have one with SSS also.

They're all good guitars, but I'll always go with the American made option.

I'd recommend playing as many different strats as you can before deciding. It depends on what you're comfortable with and what you'll be using it for: Is it for live gigs with a band, or is it for sitting around the house just as guitar you play for fun? Is it for both of those things? You get the idea.

I didn't vote, as I think you should just play a ton of guitars and see what suits you - just my two cents, there.
