HI, i am owner of this strat, almost for a year...

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/prod ... D=26041278

and so far, i din't use tremolo bar... But, now i want to try it, a little... :D

Of course, when i use tremolo bar, guitar goes slightly out of tune...
What could be done to minimize this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Hi. This happens to me too, but if you take it to the local guitar store and have it set up, it should be able to stay in tune.

Try lubing the contact points such as nut and bridge with a little graphite first. You only need a little. You can purchase it at any hardware store. Anywhere the stings make contact with the nut or bridge can be a sticking point. Hope this helps. 8) Mike

A hardware store will sell you powdered graphite which is very messy. Buy some Guitar Grease from Stewmac. It's graphite but it's in a wax form. Works great and no mess.

I use graphite from a pencil on the nut and 3 & 1 oil ont he tremolo. Just a very light coat just about every time I change strings (for me that is a minimum of once a month). Also pull back just a little on the bar when you are coming back up to get it to return to zero. I know when my contact points are a little sticky, this helps until I change the strings again.
