hey guys, im new here. i recently purchased a hwy 1 strat 3 single coils, sunburst, rosewood fret board. totally blow away by it. also with a 15 w gdec.
i get all kinds of tones with it , im still new to strats and teles, i usuallly play acoustic and ibanez electric.
i have a question my birthday is coming up, and im getting another guitar, actually mim. would you sugest getting the fat strat mim, or the tele?
my range in music is broad, but love blues,country, heavy.

Try a MIM Classic Player Baja Telecaster or the MIM '72 Telecaster Deluxe
with 2 humbuckers.

thanks, actually i was looking at the less expensive, standard strat or standard tele, then later change the pu's-.

If you're going to change the pickups later, I'd recommend (dare I suggest a non-Fender made pickup?) Seymour Duncan's antiquity Strat pickups are pretty cool. Never tried the Tele versions though. Just my opinion mind...

i recently bought a hwy strat w/3 single coils, its awesome.
im trying to decide between a standard tele or standard strat ssh(fat strat)
i love the tele tone and the strat tone.
which one is good for country, blues and rock and roll?

the strat good for blues and rock'n roll.
I think any guitar can be used for all kinds of music.

You got a strat so get a tele, both are classics.

True. Jimmy Page played a Telecaster on the first Led Zeppelin album, and Keef and Jeff Beck like them. A lot of non-country players have got great sounds from a Tele...

get the highway one tele.i have a 2000 am.std.2005 am.series and a highway
one strat.i,m looking at getting a tele also.looking at either highway one or
american series start.undecided yet.
