My uncle recently passed away, he taught me to play the guitar when i was a boy, and now i have been asked by him in his will that i sell this one guitar and give the money to his wife. it is a fender strat in pristine condition. it has the tremelo system and is all original. i know he did have the neck worked on because he was getting the "Buzz" at one point. he rarley used it. it is still in the original case with the orange velvet liner. It is sunburst in color. i have pictures. Can anyone help me get a idea of how much its worth, and where i can sell it to get the maximum dollar for it. the serial number on the metal plate in the back is 555155.
Thanks,

That sounds like a mid-'70s guitar (1974 perhaps).

You can sell it on Ebay, Craig's List, or your local newspapers.

Check out gbase.com for similar items. You could get anywhere from $2000 to $4000 depending on how motivated the buyer is and if it is in really good condition.
