12b.....Im simply demonstrating some goodwill, providing helpful and insightful tidbits of knowledge for all the newbies out there....a list of universal truths and best practices for our little community.....rules of thumb.

By scrambling my quote, you have violated several of these truths and should be banned from these forums for 30 seconds unless you recant.

LOL!!!

Whats funny is, when I tried clicking on this, to read your response i got a page can't load error, server might be busy...

It lasted about 30 seconds!!!

You have scary voodoo!!!

I agree with Ceri. I too had people who felt like gatekeepers and would only dole out info in such a way as to make you feel a fool, or make you almost beg, so they could feel smarter.

A little later, I became friends with someone whose older brother worked with many of the greats. A few of whom we talk about on these forums almost daily. It opened up a wealth of knowledge to me. Funny, the guys who know the most, and whose livelyhood depend on that knowledge are usually pretty eager to teach.

It was a life's lesson i try to take to heart. if I can share something i know to help, i will try. I also will be a sponge in collecting other people's wisdom.

On the other hand, BigJay is right. you owe us all lunch, you need to fly all of us to where you live, and take us out on the town.

I'll chime in and say that this is my favourite online forum, bar none. It has a real sense of community to it, and I'm really glad I found it.

Also, it has Vinnypop - what more could you ask for?

This is an abnormally cool musician's lounge and huge thanks to Fender for providing same.

Since joining, Fender has certainly gotten plenty of product-money from this lounger-picker.

And many good e-times have been had.

I've never really joined a music or guitar forum before. I'm around guitars and stuff all day, it just seemed redundant to talk about them online when I could be surfing through my other hobbies. (I have a HOPELESS addiction to Robots, can't explain it, I've got like 150 robots sitting in my dining room.) *sigh*

But anyway this forum is really cool, and the one other Strat forum I've found. It seems here that everyone is really polite, which is amazing on an internet chat board. I have to continually remind myself not to be an $@!&#*% (which is more my usual nature, lol.)

Hell of alot of Strat and Fender history and information on this board though. As a resource it's priceless.

And yes, it has VinnyPop, everyone forum needs a crazy person to make the rest of the members feel sane by comparison.

BWAAAAAAAAAAAAA TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA indeed.
