Sounds even better than I thought it would! Fit and finish are incredible, neck is smooth and fast, clean settings sound like a bell and when I throw that OCD on top of it she will sing for days.[/img]

Man thats a light relic judging from the photo. The CS dont do closet classic any more. Perhaps their calling it light relic or something.

Still beautiful axe mate.

Nik, it's definitely a relic.. Perfect for my tastes.. Not beat to hell but not fresh out of the box. Still has plenty of room for the war wounds it will recieve on the NYC club scene.

Yep i see now and gladly accept correction. Still a very classy looking hunk'o'wood though. Not too heavy relic'd.

Go n play the bejabbers out of it CW. You know you want to.

Thanks, Nik! Unfortunately my JCM800 is too loud even on it's lowest setting to be playing in my apartment at this hour. I gave her a quick test run and then shut up before the plaster starts falling off of my ceiling from all of the stomping above. I'm going to be rehearsing some time later this week with a band so I'll try to record a couple of mp3's to share.

Now that is a relic job that looks authentic. Nice guitar. I hope you enjoy it for many years.

NIce lookin' guitar! enjoy!
The pedal board looks very similar to Trower's pedal selection.

Nice catch! I am a huge Trower fan- the tone on Bridge Of Sighs is one of my favorites of all time and the #1 sound I try to emulate. When I found out that Robin was using Fulltone exclusively I had to check them out. As soon as I did I realized why! After that I basically just copied the main ingredients on his board.

Hi thats a nice guitar and also has a large headstock like my fake Lonely Boy 61/62, am confused as a lot told me that the large headstock guitars only came out in the seventies love the year as i was born in 1960 a rock n roll dinasaur. I am also learning how to relic guitars it looks nice very subtle.

I totally agree Twelvebar! my new guitar day was yesterday. But it still feels like I just brought her home an hour ago

Congrats CW! that sucks about not getting to give her a good work out tonight. I was in a similar situation when I brought mine home last night. But neighbors be damned! LOL I didn't have the restraint you do because I just let her rip anyway!

Hello cwpainter just asking why did CS give you a large headstock for a 1960 CS relic when the large headstocks first were used on the strats after 1965.
