12Bar, you are going to document the build with lots of pictures for us huh? We need something like that now!

i dont really have much for pics as yet. Most of it before I had a camera. it was a kit, but I still need to drill and mount the bridge and tail piece.

I will document the paint for sure, but I have a few things to get out of the way first.

i need to finish up the Ibanez project (my mojo or juju thread from a while back,) then i have 3 other refinishes, My P-bass, stripped and first sealer coat done (will start a thread,) my Mini Strat (just stripped down right now, will also start a thread when i get moving on it, I hope to do those 2 concurrently,) I have a Teisco from the 60's I want to redo.

hopefully by then I will have confidence in my spraying technique, in oreder to tackle this burst.

ooh but there's also the messy business of the set of Texas specials i forgot I had, that i found in my box of assorted guitar stuff,(still in their little unopened box,) i guess I have to build a Strat-type guitar around those too.

Duanne Almann is one of my idols. His guitar is also one of my all time favorite bursts. that and probably Billy Gibbon's Paul. I might buy some nickel covers though, If I decide I like that look better. easy enough to put on, not easy like start covers (you haveta make a solder connection,) but not hard.

I think at this point I need to apologise to scot for sending his thread hurtling off the tracks.
