BTW: I wouldn't be too suspicious of Mr samstratocaster. Someone who needs to ask for "blueprints" is not quite ready to start turning out counterfeits just yet. And anyway, those measurements are hardly a state secret.

samstratocaster, I'm ready and willing to discuss the problems of guitar design with you. I suspect there's difficulties you might not have thought of yet in coming up with something significantly different than the big makers have been doing for decades. But it's fun trying!

Exactly if i were trying to counterfit i think i would be a bit more discreet. Cheers! I have'nt got round to the build yet i'm still trying to get plans of different guitars so i can get a real feel for the perfect shape and size!
