Played one today for the first time and they are very nice.

Sound is good and feel is great.

I just hurt myself in picking up a Hot Rod 62 a few days ago. That thing is like heaven.

Hello 1962,

Don't be shy, post a photo or more
we'll all enjoy seeing a new axe.

Beat of luck with it.

Cheers.

By picking up - I meant played. I still haven't bought a new one.

I'll post a photo of my 94 American some time this week.

Hi 1962: one of my favorite features of the Am Standard (and Am Deluxe) is the "rolled" fingerboard edges. Worth paying attention to how your hand feels on those edges - might be a useful factor in your final decision.

Cheers - C
