I tried doing a search, but cannot find an answer....are there trem bars to fit a Strat in different sizes, shapes, bends, etc?

Yes there are. It also depends on which type of bridge and trem block you have. Some arms are shorter like Dave Gilmour (as seen on his model). Others have no tips on them like the Am Deluxe and some of the Custom Shop model.

Also, Callaham has three different lengths available if you are looking at getting one of their trem blocks.

If you know a machinist or have access to a shop, you could make and thread your own.

I have a variety in 316SS, 6061, Brass and other materials with a good variety of sizes, shapes and threaded ends.

I have given thought to producing my own for sale....I have a design I am working on that would allow you to vary the tension, or change out the arm to different styles and such.....just was looking for a shortcut.....LOL

I'm guessing that if you googled "custom tremolo bar" you'd see the competition out there?

Hi Mike,

Honestly, I didn't see any competition.....but then again I am not afraid of it either. My design will be a modular set up with different sizes and shapes of arms....IF I decide to go forward with it. I might just make it for me.

I look at it this way, Strat owners will either buy it or they won't.....my mortgage payments won't be depending on sales.....LOL....but if I decide to manufacture them, I might send you one to critique, in fact I might make a bunch to send out to members here for honest critical advice, so stay tuned.....
