After years of living in Army housing, I finally bought a house at my current duty station, and yea, I know all about annoying neighbors, I mean it's my job to get loud. I can't wait to get back to my home and jam. Congrats, let's just pray your new neighbor is a little cooler when they move in.

I had one of those neighbor's once... I sold my townhouse and bought house with a yard...

But not before I put a 4/10 speaker cab against our common wall cranked her up and later heard that he came home to some broken glassware in his kitchen...

I have since found Jesus and repented of my vengeful ways...

I'm hoping your new neighbor is less annoying!

Or perhaps you will become the annoying neighbor?

About five years ago we had a new family move in next door. I used to go down the basement throw on some backing tracks and jam all night. My wife would complain sometimes that the new neighbors were going to complain. About 5 months later I saw one of the daughters who was in her twenties as I was walking in with my wife and she said to me can you play more Santana and that she would stay up half the night listening to me play.Which I have to say made my day even with the roll of the eyes by my wife. Hey how many guys who hsve been playing a longtime get compliments by the wife. I can have the fretboard have smoke coming off and the vacume cleaner would just go bye but if there was ever a guest or someone else there I am amazing but in 32 years it is taken for granted, do any of you guys get the same reaction

That is humurous, and also very perceptive. Every once in a rare while, something new registers in my noodle, and it is exciting for me. Until I show my wife who, has no idea what I am doing differently from the last hundred riffs. If my neighbor complimented my playing, by requesting more santana, I would probably turn bright red, run in the house, and hide under the bed.

I'm your twin on this ..I'm a 6 foot 5 inch 240 pound tattoed biker that belongs to a Motorcycle club .. I make my living playing music..I live in a small municipality in St Louis..I got feed up with the police constantly being up peoples a#^ for B.S and the B.S housing regulations..I also own a couple rental properties in the same area..Anyway i decided i was going to run for Mayor just to make a point..I ended up dropping out of the race because it looked liked i was going to win..Since i have now become a councillman for the municipality ..One thing is certain i definitely carried the bar vote ...
But they don't know what to make of me either...The cops don't know if they have to listen to me or shoot me..But this much i know being a council member is a big enough hassle.I did the right thing by dropping out of the mayor race as i would have quit after a week...

Yeah, but imagine that paycheck for a week
Plus you would probably be the coolest f***ing mayor around, arriving to the town hall meeting followed by your biker gang, setting everyone straight on what's going to happen, then returning to your office in which the wall is made of amps and there is a full bar behind your desk, etc. >_>

I thought Hunter Thompson died...Also to the other friend that posted after me ..Please do not use the word gang when referring to a motorcycle club ..That gang word makes me cringe..I'm 42 years old with 5 beautiful girls to raise..Twin 15 year olds with my ex..A adopted 12 year old who knows every thing an 8 year old and a 4 year old with this wife..So even though ive had some rough and rowdy days they are long passed along with the majority of the other members..So the word gang just doesn't fit...
