Just come across this photo surfing. I know Jimi and Johnny jammed alot together, but I've never seen a photo with them together. And Jimi's playing bass!
It looks like Winter might be on one of Jimi's strats because he didn't really use strats.
P.S And Buddy Miles

EDIT: Just realised Winter isn't playing a Strat. It looks like a Jazzmaster - which Jimi used here and there anyway, so it might still be Jimi's guitar.

I heard Jimi played bass on Electric Ladyland, because Noel redding had quit the band, during the recording at the new( at that time) Electric Ladyland studios.

Noal quit quite a bit after. Jimi played bass on "All Along The Watchtower" apparently, and he had lots of other musicians come in on that album too which wasn't good for Noals morale. I think he quit in mid 1969.

Good photo of Winter and Jimi on the bottom link. It was obviously at the same 'jam night' my photo was.
Heres another photo I found, but Jimi with Mick Taylor.

Wow, I've never seen that picture of Jimi & Johnny, but I know that if Jimi went to a club, and a band was playing, that he would play bass.

There are two bootleg recordings of Jimi & Johnny in the studio playing 'The Things I Used To Do, and 'Further On Up The Road', which Johnny swears in interviews isn't him.
