alright, its darn near impossible to find a highway one around were i am, let alone a used one.

but i found one, and it looks good, i just wanted to check with you guys if this is the real thing.

A very fine body on it too. 2 piece and a very hard to see join. (i'm not good at spotting seams anyhow).

Yep - all looks good. Satin (non gloss finish), big headstock, pale glassy maple neck, correct string trees and perfect logo Couldn't quite see the full trem block, if its the bigger one then it's a post 06 upgraded Highway - sure looks like one.

If you're having trouble finding one in your area, pull the trigger. These are great Strats.

yeah man that is a HWY 1. telling from the the nice satin finish and the headstock i'd say go for it man and buy it
