I would be very surprised if that story were true. Why would he play a Korean Squier guitar and how to prove it.
If you like it then enjoy!

I've seen a boat load of them in my time back in the day so no, that model is far from rare.

Yes, you did put your foot in your mouth again! How's it taste? Nobody has even mentioned a MIA guitar. Your response is predictable! :?

If Eddie played this guitar, it was because somebody handed it to him, he played, and handed it back.

If somebody offered you $1,000 for it, you should have your head examined for not taking the money on the spot.

It is not rare, important, or valuable, aside from whatever intrinsic value it may have as a playable musical instrument.

Point is, rumor is not proof. Even if Eddie did play it, if there's no proof, then it can't effect the value to anyone except the person who owned it.

Unless it has mystical powers, like a piece of the one true cross.

I don't see the guitar as being anything special. I don't know how many of them are left, I used to see a ton of em around, but its an older cheap guitar.
Note I didn't say bad guitar, I said cheap guitar. There's probably a ton of them in peoples basements garages and attics. Or they could all be wrecked.

If Eddie did play it, and there's proof, there may be a market for it.
