Ah now endorphines and music is something i've recently been forced to explore to aid my smoking quit.
The simplified version is-
Addictive substances seize control of the brain and the first thing the majority of them do is control dopamine release. No dopamine = feel lousy all the time. Get a fix of whatever your addicted to be it coke, smack, nicotine or alcohol and your addiction rewards you with a dopamine rush. Which pretty much conns you into thinking that the substance makes you feel good.
Several medical persons familiar with addiction treatment told me that when you quit you need to spoil yourself rotten, basicaly to force your brain into releasing dopamine/endorphines without the addiction's say so. Listening to music you enjoy in a near perfect enviroment is pretty high up on my smoking cessation nurse list of endorphine releasing activities.

This may be just an Urban Legend, but I heard that he used to put acid on a small cut on his forhead and wrapped it with a bandana/scarf to hide it. I also know he smoked Whacky Tobacky. I am sure that was the reason for Jimi's eyes to be rolling back while playing. Plus I know I make some pretty funny faces while playing, and I play straight.

In my experience acid is the one drug that doesnt cause involuntary eye movement. Infact it usualy causes 'staring at the wallpaper intently' syndrome.

It was the weed, smack and charlie with JH, in random sequence.

yeah but you only usualy hallucinate on the comedown. When yourdrug altered concious mind is too tired to combat dreamstate. As for feelings of killing people, thats not caused by the drug. The only thing the drug will do is bring the walls of restraint down.

BTW its entirely possible you 'picked up the buzz' without injesting. When you get a lot of people together on the same chemical,it happens. Like a pentecostal meeting.
