I bought this 93 c/s "purple haze" strat a few years ago here in australia, number 15 of 32......real nice beat up thing, sure it could tell a few stories. On the back of it its got a couple of signitures, sort of took it as b-llshit,a few years after buying it was surfing the net and saw a "for sale" site in the usa with my guitar for sale...(west coast usa),add was a old one,so i emailed the seller just saying that the strat now was in retirement in oz....and asked him about the autographs on the body....his reply was "yes the signatures are the real deal",strat was owned by a Rob Terrel",he did a recording with Billy/Mitch.....one of a kind that guitar" was the reply..

Hi giantpiggy: neat! Great story.

And what a funky finish, too. Very Prince...

Cheers - C

The Billy Cox and Mitch Mitchell autographs are a nice addition!

I guess those do make it one of a kind (without them it'd just be one of 32!).

Sadly signatures on guitars are meaningless for price, unless there is some kind of documentation to support their authenticity.

If they're real it's pretty cool.

I like the funky sparkles.
