I've been lurking for a while and this is my first post.

I've tried the search function and search google but can't find the original Hendrix Monterey Strat serial number. Anybody have any idea what it might be or where I can find it?

If you mean the one hendrix torched at monterey then you have no chance. Its so unlikely that its been recorded its untrue. Despite whatever hendrix said, he didnt care much for the instruments. He certainly didnt care as much about them as he did about making a quid or two. He wouldnt have noted it.

If you want to check the serial of your monterey then email customer services.

Why would you want to know that?

The Hendrix "Electric Gypsy" reference book lists about 50 guitars that Hendrix owned/played. There are some serial numbers listed, but not that Monterey 1965 guitar, unfortunately.

The Woodstock Strat's serial number is listed as 240981 (a 1968).
The Isle of Wight black strat is 222625.
